Annie Deming
Annie Deming, Ph.D. is originally from Montana and majored in psychology at the University of Montana. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Alabama in 2009. She has been licensed as a psychologist in the state of Utah since 2010. Utah became her home after being matched for a psychology internship at Primary Children’s Hospital Center for Safe and Healthy Families. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Huntsman Mental Health Institute (previously University of Utah’s Neuropsychiatric Institute). Her job at Primary Children’s Behavioral Health Campus began in 2010, and she became the Clinical Director of the Pediatric Behavioral Health service line for Intermountain Health in 2022. Dr. Deming values multidisciplinary collaboration, and she helped Primary Children’s outpatient mental health clinic transition to a team-based approach to evidence-based care in 2021.
Dr. Deming feels a significant amount of gratitude for the excellent training and mentorship she has had throughout her career. There are several psychologists, therapists, educators, physicians, and operational leaders who have contributed to her career and personal and professional development over the years. She pays this forward in her role as a primary supervisor in Primary Children’s APA-accredited psychology internship program.
In all of Dr. Deming’s work, she strives to be trauma-informed, and she is trained in several evidence-based treatments. She also offers training in trauma-informed psychological assessment. Dr. Deming is proud to be a psychologist and she appreciates her job immensely, as it allows her to contribute to the essential work of improving children’s health across the intermountain west.
Khiela J. Holmes
Dr. Khiela J. Holmes received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alabama-Tuscaloosa with a specialized concentration in children. She is the owner of Shalom Wellness Services, LLC and provides therapy services to individuals ages 6 to 25. She is also the founder of Birthing the Gifts, a non-profit organization that promotes the social-emotional wellness of youth and families while providing a safe and compassionate space to grow and develop their God-given gifts through educational retreats, resources, and community events.
Dr. Holmes has an interest in the intersection of mental health and faith. She also works with senior leaders and employees in early childhood education, pediatric healthcare, and faith settings to assist with creating a trauma-informed system.

Dr. Holmes is committed to professional service through leadership roles in national and state-level psychology organizations such as the Society for Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology Diversity Committee, Arkansas Psychological Association, and the Arkansas Association of Black Psychology Professionals.

Khiela J. Holmes

TRACY HOLMES, II
Tracy Curtis Holmes II is a father of two and husband to Audrey Austrie Holmes. Originally from Little Rock, AR, Tracy earned a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and completed his graduate studies at Stanford University, receiving a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and M.S. in Medicine. Now residing in the San Francisco Bay Area, Tracy works in Business Development within the Biotechnology industry. Tracy is a partner within his church, New Beginnings Community Church of the Bay Area, and an active volunteer/community member within his kids’ local elementary school and school district.

MAUREEN GRAHAM
A psychologist and professional counselor specializing in clinical modalities that help individuals in their recovery from mental, emotional, and physical trauma. Interventions used in practice include a holistic model that incorporates the patient or client’s concerns as these relate to the individual’s internal and external environmental factors. Clinical modalities are employed to accommodate individual, family, group, and couples therapy, and consideration is given to the unique infrastructure of the individual’s system, to diagnose the root cause of concerns, and to develop appropriate corrective action plans for recovery.

Experienced education professional with a demonstrated history of working in the graduate medical education industry. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations, Medical Education, Data Analysis, and Event Planning. Strong healthcare services professional with a Bachelor of Science (BS) focused in Psychology from Vanderbilt University.

As the founder of Seeds of Life Consulting (SOLC), she equips private and public agencies with the tools to integrate trauma-informed care practices into their organizations and communities. SOLC partners with agencies to foster resilience, advance equity, and implement sustainable, people-centered solutions through organizational development, including training and development, executive coaching, community engagement, and strategic capacity-building.
